LMV demos
This is a 'movement demo' for a project I'm working on, project titled LMV. I'm looking for feedback on how the movement feels- how do the jumps feel? Do you feel like you can control where you land? Do you feel like the game is ignoring your inputs ever?
Controls exist for both mouse + keyboard and for a game controller. When at a repair station (the brown circles with robotic arms) you can change what special equipment is equipped. The colors correlate to the different types of inputs (Special Action 1, Special Action 1 Held, Jump while in air, Special Action 2). Additionally, the player has a sword slash that allows the player to bounce on the 'thorns' that will damage the player (i.e. the pogo in Hollow Knight).
There is a Windows version of this demo (you can download below) which supports controllers. I don't believe the web version does. I can try and add Linux and Mac versions as well.
Controls:
| Action | Keyboard | Controller |
| Jump | Space | South button |
| Sword slash | Left Click | West button |
| Special Action 1 | Right Click | Right Trigger |
| Special Action 2 | Left Shit | Left Trigger |
| Loadout Menu | E | Options (small upper left button) |
| Pause Menu | Left Ctrl | Share (small upper right button) |
I would really appreciate it if you would fill out this quick google form for me;
